headerstroke-butterfly

The most technically difficult and physically demanding stroke among the four, the butterfly is not recommended for beginner swimmers as it involves a fair amount of strength, coordination, dexterity and precise timing.

Although it is a difficult stroke to master, most will find it fun, challenging, and a visually-pleasant stroke to learn. The kick used in butterfly is also commonly referred to as the “Dolphin Kick”.
